I currently own a 2013 mk6 GLI Autobahn W/nav.

I am attempting to retrofit the VW OEM LED Taillights that come on the 2013 Hybrid model and now the 2013.5 and on GLI. I have purchased them from here

In the thread it explains to code byte 18 to 53 which for me lead to Errors. From my research I have found that everyone that has successfully done this retrofit has a CECM with a part number ending in 86. I have discovered that mine ends in 87. I have tried changing byte 18 to B4 which works with no errors but the lights don't behave as intended. It's the closest but the lights don't get to their full brightness and the running lights across the top and bottom of the lights come on faintly. Here is an image for reference of the design.

I realize the cameras will typically cause the LED's to flicker. However, I believe intended behavior is to have the C shaped lights come on without the LED "Lines" while the headlight switch is in the off position. The "lines" on the LED's are to come on in the parking light and on position of the headlight switch. Indicators are the C Shaped lights as well.

I can get a full autoscan really really soon. Just wanted to get this up.

Any assistance with this to get the behavior correct would be greatly appreciate.
