It's interesting - your example vehicle with Autohold enabled has ABS module 5Q0 907 379 P,
Your car is almost the same as my car (both looking to enable Autohold) and both have ABS module 3Q0 907 379 F (I have G)

Anyone at RT know if this may make a difference? I notice that both my car and the 2 example vehicles use the later 5Q0 label files

    Try this test:
    Byte 08 = 03
    Byte 19 = C0
    Byte 23 = B3

The coding was accepted but the auto-hold functionality did not work.

No error codes to speak of either.

    yes

    Byte 08 = 03
    Byte 19 = C0
    Byte 23 = F7
    and
    Byte 25 = 42 , you have now 41

and with 41 you have activate HHA ,
i think Hild hold and Auto Hold is not possible coding together

Ok, well I tried this and it seems to have screwed up my DSG ECU, despite me not touching it. I have reverted everything back to standard and there are no errors in any module except for DSG.

Just to confirm, the changes to the bytes suggested caused EPB comms errors but have all now gone in the ABS module when I reverted the coding to the original.
I have never experienced this where coding 1 module has what seems to be quite negative affects on another which can't be rectified by changing the coding back.

Physically the car run perfect and everything works - including adaptive cruise, start stop etc. I have tried disconnecting the battery for 15 mins but no change
    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-(
Ross-tech = is there any way to force reset the module in any way?
    Thanks

I've seen stranger coincidences. One of them got me building my very first diagnostic interface back in 1999, but that's a long story...

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

This is how my friend's car comes from the factory (hill and auto hold enabled).
