Hey there,

Just retrieve my old HEX-CAN cable from the graveyard lol.
Wanted to use it with the newest version of VCDS but I'm unable to update my firmware to 1.94 from 1.84.

Can anyone help ???

Thanks

Hello,

The inline picture didn't come through properly, but I dug the URL out of the page source and took a look.

That isn't a genuine Ross-Tech interface; it's a pirated clone. You won't be able to use it with VCDS.

You can purchase a genuine interface and license here: Ross-Tech Store

Shiiit Had a copy before buying the real deal a few year back.
Didn't remember that the copy was that real and even get detechted as ROSS TECH HEX+CAN in VCDS.

if you're sure about this, seems like I've found to wrong one and will have to digg the garage alittle more lol

Thanks,

You're not the first, or the last... once you find your genuine interface, you can get properly registered for support and forum access. :)

It's not my place to go into further detail, but I'm quite sure.
