I have a 2011 vw cc 2.0t tsi engine. this engine was replace by vw dealer in new jersey it only has about 300 hundreed miles on it. now this is problem it dies when driving no foult codes. after a few minutes start again. it runs really nice but I'm affraid to drive it.

please help.

Start logging and driving at own risk with VCDS or return to dealer for solution/new car.......if not satisfied with a reasonable solution.....
Consult a lawyer and DMV.

Car that new shouldn't need an engine or be dying.
Video it when it happens.......if you can....... to document.

At the very least post an auto-scan to examine.

While waiting for an Auto-Scan... I'll put these 2 things on the table...

Engine dies, no codes, this can be caused by an Engine Speed Sensor (G28).
Engine dies, no codes in ECM, but other control modules have fault codes for missing message from ECM, then the ECM is dropping off line. Maybe a bad Power Supply Relay for example.

Also, when the engine dies, does it just shut off like you pulled the key out of the ignition, or does it sputter and misfire dying a slow death?

Yeah we need the scan but why did the original engine fail? That history may be related to the current condition.

Sure Jef absolutely.
I agree with Dana.....this information is important as it is for you to document as well.

However, so can a stuck open N80 or even a bad ecu......

I would want to know what the G28 reports in 0x01-04-200 in field one.

Believe it or not a G28 can be bad or reported as bad while good ......and ECU be bad while no report of DTC's but sometimes be observed as error during the calibration count down or seen blocking the test to start.

engine failed because a tensioner for the timing belt went bad, bending valves the dealership replaced the engine.

So the TCM and ABS aren't whining about the ECM dropping offline, so this looks more like an Engine Speed Sensor (G28) issue to me.

I have more information about this car, I took it to a local vw service, car is been there for about 4 days now, well they are thinking that is the low pressure fuel pump but I don't trust them.

Please correct the OXS heater issue for the controller...... as this is a load device.....don't forget to check if this controller supported fuses for it via wire diagrams/repair manual.

You very well depending on the fault of short/open could be getting a brown out of controller.
