I've tried the above changes on my T6 but still do not have the mirrors to fold.

make sure you reset the one touch window switches after the coding, you have to hold the lock on the key for a second or so,
and you have comfort open/closing set on the windows.
Then all should be good,
dont take this the wrong way-you do have power folding mirrors to start with?

It seems (so far anyway) that only 'L' revision modules con be coded to enable mirror fold via key fob.

Coding is just changing the last digit to a '3' (presuming electric folding mirrors from factory)

Also, 'comfort closing' in the BCM (09-cent. Elec) needs to be enabled.

It seems the different software revisions between the door modules is why it works for some and not others

And as already stated, mirror fold will NOT work unless window limits has been readapted (one touch up/down control)

Just an opinion here : recently I had a few T5s here with a complaint to a poor radio reception. The reason was the mirror antennas for tuner 1 and 2 cables damaged due to folding the mirrors.
Maybe this poor design with antenna wires was the reason to disable the auto-fold feature ...

There's been a repair kit (or at least instructions in a TSB/TPI) available for some time and if I remember correctly, the new kit/wires should not have that problem anymore.

I can confirm that my mirrors now fold on lock (by holding the remote key a little longer for the comfort setting) and unfold by turning on the ignition. I have an 'L' revision module.

Hi, I`m little bit confused about folding mirrors. I would like to make it to my friend with LHD T5Gp 2011. Mirrors are already retrofitted but with modules 801A/802A...which doesn`t support folding on lock. BCM is 087F. What modules do you suggest to make it work. I also planning upgrade of BCM to 090D (not sure if 7H0 or 7E0...does it matter?)

Is it possible to make it work with latest modules 801N and 802R or there is some problem that is too new or something else? Thaaank you a lot guys!

Okay this configuration you have work as mentioned above...folding on lock and unfold after ignition/terminal 15 is on or somehow else? Do we know what else modules if I have problem to get 801J and 802J is good for me?
