I have the latest updates, and I keep getting "function not supported by gateway" when trying to scan for codes, and I get "no response from instrument cluster" when trying to reset SRI. I have a 2006 Audi A8L 4.2.

Are you doing this with the ignition turned on? Using VCDS-Mobile or VCDS?

What is the test result shown in VCDS > Options > Test when plugged into the car? Please quote all lines and/or make a screenshot.

Another HEX NET?
Yes, unless you'd rather have one of our traditional wired interfaces temporarily while we have a look at what's going on with your HEX-NET.

I received the new HEX NET, and it works just fine. I will send the old one back. I appreciate the fast response and service.

I do have a question unrelated to the faulty HEX NET; Is there a way I can turn off the brake pads warning? I am going to get them done soon, but the warning message is driving me crazy!! Thanks.

On an A8, I do not think any cars were made without a brake-pad wear indicator circuit, and I do not see any way to code it out.
