Hopefully this is the right forum to ask this one.
On my 2010 Golf TDI, it has an electric heater that kicks on when you turn the fan to setting one or two...when you first start the car and get going. Once the engine reaches a certain temperature, the electric heater will turn off. I have heard the engine temperature is around 165 or so, but not sure if that is certain. I'm looking to find a way to keep this electric heater on all the time in those first two fan settings, regardless of engine temperature. It gets very cold in where I live, and I have a long commute to work up at the ski resort in the winter. Does anyone have any idea how this might be accomplished? Is it something that VCDS could even do? Any help would be appreciated!
