Coding injectors CAYC engine 1.6TDi

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows the security access to adapt the injector codings for idle controlon these engines?? I already tried the suggested 27971 from the pop up box but all I get is a "refused to send seed" error and I cant reprogramme the new injectors.

What happens when you try to code it with new injector number ?

If secure access is needed, try: 12233
I have had one, where the 27971 was not accepted the first try.

It won't accept it, it comes up with security access required. I tried it a few times but didn't work. I'll try 12233 but I'm not sure it's applicable to the 1.6 tdi.

Hello, I'm not sure, but please look for Injector Calibration (Cylinder 1) in Adaption channels without access,
After Replacing an Injector the new Part has to be calibrated to avoid drivability issues.
Once the new Injector is installed save "0" as new Value and switch the Ignition OFF for about 30 Seconds.

Ok I will give that a go. I tried again with the codes but to no avail. I even had another one in and tried the 27971 and it worked no problem. Maybe it's a difference in software??

No the car is completely stock. I found this same issue on a vehicle before but I then sent it to a friends garage who had ODIS to code them for me. I'm just intrigued as to why it doesn't work with this particular ecu?

Hello,
some ideas. If the mounted injectors are build by DELPHI, there will be a very different procedure to get the codes into ECU.
For excample:
FPFNCB82N6ZEL8D5YCZ - correction value on injector
test step : evaluate exchange direction
test step : disassemble string
test step : convert the values
test step : catenate

Adjustment Injector

That was performed by ODIS, don't know anything how to do it with VCDS :banghead:

Keep in mind that I only replied directly to one RoW 1.2 TDI Injector calibration email from Support so I'm not an expert but that control module did not require a Security Access code prior to reading or writing a new Long Adapt value for the injectors. They should be Delphi injectors as well so I might be able to add some clarity to Wolfgang's ODIS contribution. I however do not know if this going to help the OP with the 1.6 inquiry.

If they are truly blocked we won't be able to see the stored values but I'd like to make sure.

It is not so difficult, use the list Dana showed, I have also made calculation in the Danish LCode, it is possible to copy the 20 character injector code and then paste the result.

I would think it is a Conti injector, with 6 character code, where an zero must be added at the end.

Yeah it's a 6 digit code, I'm well aware of the additional 0 needed, but I tried all this already and when I attempt a coding it states a security access is required. Then I try whatever security access codes I have got but none work. (FYI I was a VAG dealer tech for 13 years, how simple things have changed!! Lol)

Dana, I actually have a map stored for this which I will post when I get near my laptop. But I'm not sure if it's going to be of any use . (Well I hope I have as I've never use these before)

-Use latest beta VCDS.
-Ignition On > Ignition OFF 10 sec. > Ignition ON > try again.
-Battery OFF for a while.

Can you try scanning that injector if it has a QR code? We had a 3.0L V6 NAR T'reg yesterday that I got this scan from based on the original photo sent from the customer:

Its not 27971 as it says something like controller refused to send seed.

i made an conversion file in Excel, it converts the characters printed on the Injector to the 20bit value for entering in VCDS.
Unfortunatly at the moment it only works on my pc/excel(underneath an image of the file):
