My Audi A6 2006 is having persistent P2404 CEL codes. I can go a few days, then one pops up. I have looked at various engine vacuum lines (and fixed one that was causing a slew of other codes, the tube near the oil dipstick that is a common problem). I replaced the Purge Value, no change, and also replaced the J757 relay that Bentley claims is often the problem. The gas cap looks good and the o-ring is in good condition.
I have read that the Audi VAG tool can be used to test the EVAP system:
"Yes, with VAG-com. Go into 01 engine electronics, 04 basic settings, group 070 and 071. One is a tank leak check, the other is purge valve function."
I didn't see anything on the Ross-Tech site or in the manual about this. Is there an EVAP test I can run using your software?
