Because you would be surprised what happens when DTC's float on the network, causing disruptions for communications.

It is most likely a faulty sensor with a damaged harness as per TSB......... but it is not always.

I do stupid things....... like create shorts/opens and feedback to each pin or junctions .......then document in my own journals for what DTC's they create.
I have found that when certain DTC's are on bus, they create triggers to turn things off or impair functions in other modules.

I know ....I know I am boring people now with my nerd ways.
Only weird issue is why isnt 55 - headlights range accessible.

Jack,Im not sure why or what "Oh boy FOD here we go" means, I am sorry that I Just got the cable and have not figured it all out already, I apologized in advance for being new.

As far as the Headlight range, thats because we pulled the fuse so it wouldn't show on the dash, until the new control device comes in next week.

I will pay someone if they can help briefly walk me through the measuring blocks, or whatever is needed to check the communication issue.

Again, thank you guys for any and all help!

If that came off as me sounding like a smart a$$, it was not AT ALL meant to lol. when i went back and read what I wrote, it certainly could be taken the wrong way, which was NOT my intention.

I truly am appreciative, and am desperate to figure out this issue, this being my only car, and it being above 90 outside everyday now, is HORRIBLE. Im a realtor so I cant even drive people around in my car because of this

Measuring blocks - MVB for shrort.

You can learn about it from here:
    http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/tour/m-blocks.html
But your car being so new i would assume, it doesn't have the old style MVB, only advanced MVB.

Correction. Your car climate control doesn't have label file. Didn't notice that before. You can learn about label files here: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/labels.html

Just got a pressure sensor from the dealer this morning Jack, No luck.

If anyone wouldnt mind telling me if I did the proper measuring blocks (for the DTC's it called for) Then I could cross that off the list as well as far as the communication error right?
