I am trying to activate hold assist on my audi a3 but none of the two security codes work. Does anyone know how to activate this via long coding?
Heres an auto scan of my ABS module:

Rajeev,

The data you posted above is from a cloned/pirated system and that's not acceptable here. Since you own a real one, please post a complete Auto-Scan from this car using your genuine system, otherwise, no soup for you. ;)

I do apologise, i got scammed into buying a fake not realising it. I then reported the seller and then bought a real one.

I tried enabling it using the adaptations of channel 3 but it would still say security access required after entering both security access codes. Ive heard that there is a way to enable it using long coding

Rajeev: Hi, As you probably already know, the A3 and Golf mk7 share the same build platform (MQB) and the ABS control module on the two models both use the 5Q0 907 379 series units.
Anyhow, I've been trying to get a listing of the security codes for the Mk control modules on another forum. After reading what the wise folk here have said about these illusive numbers, I'm pretty much convinced that a getting a complete list will be the delicious futility of an impossible task! Nevertheless, I have had an interesting response to my pleas from a colleague on the other forum who uses the handle "zloybob" and his/her previous information has been spot-on!.

Here's a copy of zloybob's response:

03 - 25004 for Brake Booster adaptation
if u need more logins for 03 block, tell me what u want change in adaptations, coz for each option own login
sry for bad english xD

Probably won't work on your hill-hold problem, but it might be worth a try! If it doesn't work, at least you will have the code should you want to play with the brake- booster settings
Cheers
Don

Thank you for your reply. I did try that code but it still didn't work. Hill hold assist is a different function to hold assist which im talking about. In the adaptations its called AUTO HOLD. That is what im trying to enable.

rajeev: Thanks for the clarification. My bad- I was aware of the difference, it was just a problem getting my addled mind to sync with my fat fingers!!

Anyhow - since our last exchange, my "deep-throat" source for these beguiling and rarely-seen numbers has again responded with yet more codes to add to my reference list.

The additional codes for 03- ABS follow:
  • 11966
  • 37202
  • 31857
  • 28183
  • 44595
  • 24435
  • 15081
  • 18573
I'm not sure which security codes align with which adaptation channels, but feel free to try them. Please share any of your findings with the rest of us
Cheers
Don

Thanks for all of those codes!;) Many people have been looking for these. Do you think if i try one after the other and trying to do the adaptation each time until it works will be safe? Is there any risks of locking my abs module by using these?
Thank You

This is gonna sound random, but do you have a battery charger?

When trying various security access codes, one should beware of the following: Entering an unacceptable security access code will often put a control module in a state where it refuses to take any others (even a good one!) for a period of time, and the timer that counts down that period only runs when the ignition is on. So be prepared to let your car sit around with the ignition on for a good long time (an hour or more) any time you try a bad one.

So each bad code means an hour wait? I think all these codes would be accepted its just knowing which code unlocks the adaptation that i want. Would putting good codes in successively lock the module out?
Thanks

I do not know how many bad codes you can enter before this particular module will penalize you with "Lock time" nor how long the lock time period will be. I'm just giving you a general warning about trying various security codes.

I also don't know whether too many "good" (but not the one you're looking for) codes entered in succession will give you issues. My guess is trying good codes (i.e. ones that aren't outright rejected) probably won't cause issues if you cycle the ignition between codes.

These codes are all accepted except for 44595 and 28183. But none of these codes can activate auto hold. Do you mind asking Zloybob what the code is for auto hold? Thank you

Also there is an MWB in newer UDS controllers called:
"Security Access: Number of invalid keys"
That is increasing with the entering of a wrong secure code.

With the wrong code i get an error saying the control module refused the code. With a valid security code is says code accepted but when you go to change the auto hold functionality it come sup with an error message saying security access required.

I just tried all of these codes in my 2016 A3 and had the exact same result as rajeevx5 - all but those 2 were accepted, none were the right code for AUTO HOLD adaptation. Tried them all with engine on, again with engine off.

How do we figure this out??
