Help Needed:confused: I have changed my RCD-510 to a RNS-510 but after the change i have lost my factory installed reverse camera and aux. Everything else is working perfect. :o So have anyone any clue whats wrong? is it in the RNS? Software? Checked out the cabels connectors and that is ok so far that i can see.
It is a 2011 Vw Golf Tdi Variant Mk6 DSG7.

You might want to check coding in the Gateway and Navigation. Start with Navi. The reason is if the RNS 510 was coded to communicate with the camera over CAN bus before then it will not see it now since you got the camera connected directly to it.

Just do autoscan and post result here. Much easier and less data, for more information. :)

My suggestion would be to read post #2 again, a couple of times if needed.

Have you added in the Installation List of the gateway? RVC and not for shore AUX (MDI in the list is something ells for that you need a module and can be use with I-phone or HDD)
Camera low-cam or high-cam?

low = without the moving lines
high = with moving lines

I guess that the car doesn't have camera high because when you look at the installation list(yeah in Swedish), it tells us "kan ej nas"(Unreachable)

Look at address 19 and uncheck camera if that is on, that's for high-cam J772 https://youtu.be/TXBVnQA9HoA

AUX Input:
Address 37 and in long coding under Byte 00 select Bit 2

Camera (RVC)
The headunit requires programming to tell it of the existence of a RVC.
Address 37 and in long coding under Byte 03 select Bit 6.
To complete, reboot the RNS 510 with the three buttons on top. '<' , '>' and '* or a speaker button'

If it still saying unreachable inspect you fuses in the fusebox on the left or the plugs from radio/camera/AUX and etc.
Picture is an example of a low-camera and is without movable lines
