What are you wanting to accomplish by altering the coding of that module?

I am looking at additional options for wipers especially the tear wipping on my MK7 GTI and I know that for skoda it is done through this module by enabling bit 3. I have already tried enabling the adaptation channels in 09 Central Elect. following the instructions on other forums but it still doesn't work and some say that it requires additional coding to get it working.
