That thread is in a section of the forum where only Verified users can post.

To become a Verified user, please see the first post of this thread. I believe category 2) applies in your case.

There should be a number printed on your interface that starts with "AVT". You can use this in the Certificate Number field and leave the Short Serial field empty.

A serial number alone is not sufficient if the system in question was purchased from a reseller, which yours was. As described in the first post of this thread, you still need to register that system with us by filling out this form. Please put "Check my forum status" in the 'Notes or Special Instructions' field of the form.

Uwe, I am having trouble getting my vcds working so I can reset the throttle body on a mk3 golf. I have purchased the software, and I have paid the $99usd for registering of the software, but I still have nothing, it has been a while now and I seem to have lost communications by email. I thought that there would be some activation code sent to me, but have not seen anything yet. I am in NZ and the cost to me is over $140nzd is there something I have missed or maybe something else I can do.

Hmm, we sent your activation on 7/31 at around 1:00pm (East Coast USA time).

I've just forwarded to you again. If you do not receive it, please check your spam/junk folders. If it's not there, I might suggest getting a gmail address. They seem pretty reliable.
