Morning everyone. Just picked up a B6 1.8t avant to battle the incoming NEPA winter and finally decided to ditch my china cable/VCDS Lite combo for the real deal. I'm a programmer by trade so I'm excited to finally have the proper level of control and granular debugging capabilities.I signed up before I registered my device, so I someone could check my status, that would be rad. Thanks.

Please see the very first post in this thread. You are in category 2. The old HEX+CAN interface you have has never been registered with Ross-Tech. If you wish to be a Verified user here, please register it per the instructions in the first post of this thread.

I'm trying to figure out how to get verified, I purchased my Hex-Can cable years ago (either directly or from a official retailer, can't remember), and I've finally ran in to my first problem. Can you please check to see what I need to do to become verified?

So it doesn't have the config button, just LED even after testing it.
