Customer called me out to this car as no power ups. he states on 5 different occasions the car would cut out then start then one day he went out to the car put the key in and there was nothing no dash light no start. new battery fitted still dead. the dash comes to life when the door is opened. when pushing the key in all the way there is a rattle clicking coming from deep in the dash.
all I could get is displayed in the read data can anyone adv me on where to look.

Quite a few modules not talking at all. Check power to those modules, and look for a common source in the wiring diagrams.

There is some possibility that the steering column lock is causing this, but I'm not sure. Could also be a bad relay somewhere.

Update FIX: fuse box above the throttle peddle relay number 460 where it plugs in to the fuse/relay box there is a bad connection the relay is on the lower left corner as there are 2 460 relays. replace the connections car ok now.:thumbs:
