Hello,
I have a 2008 Audi TT and my key fob stopped working today. It lights up but will not interact with the car.
Has anyone had this before.

08 Audi TT - Key FOB stopped working

Hello Everyone,
The other day I locked the car then came back 10 mins later and the FOB would t unlock the car.
I had to get CAA to open the car up for me. The Car runs fine and I can lock the car from inside while I’m in it. The tumbler on the drivers door is seized as I can’t remember the last time I used it.

I opened up VAG-COM and looks like I have no keys attached to the car. How do I reconnect my FOB using VAG-COM?

What do you see in MVB 010 and does anything in there change when you press buttons on the remote?

All it says is remote control and not installed in the first and second column.

Have a look at the Long Coding of that module; Byte 10, bit 0. "Remote Control Inactive" seems to be checked. Is it possible you've flipped that bit unintentionally?

Not that I’m aware of. The key worked in the morning when I dropped it off to get the A/C fixed the shop moved it locked it again came back 20 mins later and it wouldn’t open.

You were correct the remote control inactive was checked off. Now I’m not sure how but the fobs are working now.
