Hey, i have tried to code in cruisecontrol on my car after mounting the parts. cluch switch is ok. have activated cruise in the engine module, (showin a G) and in steering wheel module. But when i go to measuring blocs on steering wheel, (group 4, ist says on the right, "not installed". Anyone got a clue why my cruise isnt working?

This wire? " T16a/5 " I have not found where or what this wire is anywhere, could you please enlighten me? I get button outputs from both engine module aswell as the steering wheel module, and yes thats what i was following :D

Edit: found other sites sayin that the b7 did not need an extra wire, might be something from the b6. Also still have not solved this:/

I've done a couple of cruise retrofits on B7 cars - here's the problems I found along the way:
1) is the SCSM cruise compatible, not all are?
2) coding didn't take when the cruise control switch was not in the off position, I had to revert the SCSM coding (and engine login) then put the cruise switch to off and redo the coding and login.

I would suggest to run a wire from T16/5 to the engine T121/38 as per ESLA wiring diagram. Or check to see if it's arready in place.

can try with the switch off, might be that, also i am getting a multifuncion steering wheel in the mail, the dude was kind enough to ship his stalks and backplate aswell so if that doesnt work ill try that, but thanks for the tip :D

also i have no cruise control light that lights up in the dash, is this something i can test for?

On the B7 that won't light up until the cruise control is correctly programmed and in use.

I assume from viewing the schematics that this is the connector, pin 5 is occupied as its supposed to :/

mounted and coded in a new baclplate and a multifunction steerinwheel. the wheel works as it should after coding. have checked that brake and clutch switches are okay. coded in the cruise as instructed with the lever in the off position, and yet it still didnt work. tried to code it off and back on again multiple times. with the switch both off and on. (last time with it off) and yet doesnt work. in the image above there is mentioned a hardware cruise on. this doesnt work for me. is it supposed to? ( can works but none of the other buttons do anything in here but all indicate in the blocks 004 in steeringwheel module) any answers would be greatly appreachiated.
