Was replacing the cabin pollen filter when I noticed something that just looked as a folded paper towel.
I though ... "OK, the mechanic forgot a paper towel during the annual service".
Tugged ... came out easy ... and revealed that I should be posting this question in the thread "Hall of Shame".

Question is - can I keep riding without this piece or I absolutely must replace it or try to reinsert it?
Many thanks!!!

Moni

I found an image showing the padding. Note the corner of white padding on the right, on the "floor", under the pollen filter assembly (right nest to the two red wires).

Hello,

The padding that you pulled is for sound reduction and insulation. I do not think you "absolutely " need it but I think you could reinstall it rather easily.

If it was me, I would install it now, because it may get misplaced or tossed out :p

Hope this helps,

drpeter

Thank you so much DrPeter!!
Yeah! You are right about the "use or lose" situation :)
Will try to tease out some of the plastic components.

Many thanks again!
