Very slow 2012 Jetta TDI

Hello everyone, I own a 2012 Jetta TDI DSG with 178k miles on it. I recently bought it, so i don't know if this is normal or not. It's tuned staged 2 malone, and deleted. My questions the car seems to be VERY slow off the line, like golf cart acceleration slow. Once it gets going to appears to be much better, but i dread red lights and stop signs as it takes so much time to get going again. I've done full scans with my rosstech cable and there are no faults. Any suggestions as to what it could be or where i should start looking first? This can't be normal. TIA

Those scans suggest that the tune is masking a lot of engine problems - 11 faults with the standard code, none with the tune :facepalm:

well i mean most of the faults in the non tuned scan are due to everything being deleted, right? I would think non tuned scan would throw codes for exhaust flap, egr, dpf and what not being non of the stuff is there. Correct me if i'm wrong

All those sensors deleted - are you 100% sure about that?

BTW is it legal in your state to delete the DPF and EGR, etc.(I think Jack will be along to say it's not legal IIRC)? It certainly isn't legal where I live over the pond.

Doesn't the EPA CAA make that the case? :rolleyes:

This section is for repairs that are qualified using the repair manual, not a place to aid in the willful nefarious unlawful purported acts to remove AECD's, than again the cars were originally certified as a means of an unlawful act were they not & was not the company put in the hurt locker worldwide and still dealing with repercussions?

Remove modified defeat devices and return car to config approved by EPA.

If all the stuff that's been deleted in the tune has physically been removed from the car, then yes, the stock software would throw faults for the things that are physically missing.

But since you have no fault codes with the ECU delete software, I'm not sure what you should look for. I might suggest contacting Malone for advice, since this thing is effectively "their" engine now.

And their liability for all repairs to get back to comporting configuration and trebled right + mandatory penalties and discretionary fines + inflation factor of CFR to all be adjudicated?

I honestly don't know what your problem is. Maybe it is mechanical like bad engine mounts and bushings. I am sure bad sway bar bushings won't help either.
