Dear All,

I have an Audi A3, customer went to fix the evaporator for A/C. Drive well for 2 days then have this Airbag Issue. See VCDS Report.

I checked all wiring and everything looks good.

I suspect the only fix for that will be to replace the airbag module, but can you please post a complete Auto-Scan for context?

Also, please do not use the [Print] function in VCDS to post data here. Please use [Copy] or [Save] and in the latter case, open the saved file with Notepad and paste the contents here.

Can i buy a used one with same part number and will it work?

What additional coding i need?

On an 8V A3, I expect the airbag module is part of the Component Protection constellation, so even a used one will require a trip to the dealer (or someone with access to the mothership's servers).

Personally, I would never install any used airbag components in my car. I would rather have no airbags at all than a system that contains explosives aimed at me and my passengers that I do not trust.
