06 BRM TDI DSG NEW FRICTIONS/STEELS CLUTCH ADAPTATION

Installed a new DMF and Upgraded the clutches (Frictions/Steels) in the 02e dsg auto transmission in a 06 vw Jetta tdi brm. Trying to find out what exactly I should do to properly adapt the new setup. Also have to refill with fresh Pentosin FF2 (new filter already installed).

    Regards,Bo

You should probably run Basic Settings on the tranny, as described here:

    UWE!

I bet you get tired of answering questions. From all of us, Thank you! Another question ....

What is the very last statement of pre-rec referencing to?

"Customers with TDI's have reported that an RPM range of 2000-2500 rpm is sufficient"

I didn't write that stuff, but the context appears to be specified test drive, several lines up:
"The engine speed window for all gears is 1200 - 3500 RPM (for clutch calibration)."

So I have to rev the engine during calibration? Joking, not funny?

Its the small things, details that always compromise a perfectly logical explanation.

I've not done one of these, but I think the RPM specs are during the test drive.

Dsg slipping with new clutches AFTER recalibration??

So 06 vw Jetta tdi brm DSG 6 , drove decent after installing new Frictions/Steels in the transmission but when I followed the Ross tech dsg calibration its slipping and acting weird. Trans was at correct temp, brake pedal down in park no accelerator.

Merged this new post back into your original thread regarding the same transmission.

What was the source of the replacement parts that you installed?
