My friend is asking me to delete fault of airbag in Renault car. I'm saying that it might be not a good idea. But he is sure that we should try. Is that possible with HexV2 interface???

I really don't think so. VCDS has no clue how to talk to the airbag module in a Renault.

Okay, that's the same as I think. The next question would be, can I use Hex V2 cable with other diagnostic programs?

Maybe, but this piece of hardware is designed to work with VCDS ;)

Sometimes is a simple universal OBD-tool all you need...

None that I know of. There is nothing generic or universal about it.

I remember, though it was a long time ago. Hex + CAN work very well with a certain Renault DDT program but (officially) I didn't say anything.

So, if this was the answer you were looking for, I would conclude the "case". :)

On K-Line Renaults maybe?

HEX+CAN had a dumb K-Line pass-through mode. HEX-V2 does not.
