2010 Audi TTS race car, shift paddles wont work

Hallo guys, I would like to ask if someone can help me out.
Im building 2010 Audi tts into a full race car, im keeping the original computers, I did removed a lot of th computers out( radio, navigation etc) coded is out of gateway and other computers looking for them, vehicle has no lights, no wiring in doors, roof, decklid etc
I did have to keep the airbag module in car for the traction control system to work and to be able to use launch control. module has only power, ground and can bus hooked to it.
The issue im having is regarding the paddle shifters under the steering wheel.
Steering module is seeing when im pressing it but if you go to dsg I do not see it being activated( of course it doesn't work when driving in any mode)
It was working before I started pulling wires out of the car.
I removed out of the car the connectors and wires from fuse box to it etc,
I did check continuity in comfort can bus, all is good same for powertrain can bus, information can bus is completely removed and coded out (since all the modules are removed out of car)
I keep only computers needed to run car.
to try to repair it:

I grab steering wheel from friends car (its working on his) and plug it in but same steering wheel module see it transmission module not
tried to put original coding in all computers and original software in engine and transmission and still didn't work
I replaced steering wheel control module and same result

there is in steering wheel module in measuring blocks 6-4 malfunction recognized and result is yes, but cant see for what it is

I got it solved!!!!!!!
When the coding (removing of stuff) happened VCDS coded everything but for some reason steering wheel module didn't reset itself.
after long hours and tracing steps back, nothing help. :banghead:

By mistake I forget vcds cable, so I used Autel, did reset with autel and everything woke up and works!!!!!!

As per our phone conversation I dug into this based on my fuzzy recollection of a noted VW problem with J527 in this time frame. That was NAR VW TPI 2017528/5 which directed you to a test plan to correct a "Software error of steering column electronics". I ran that test plan and it used a SA of 86611 followed by modifications to speicherzelle (EEPROM/memory cell) 883.

This aligns with what we suspected and discussed on the phone. Additionally the only other search result for "86611" in our forum was here:

Don't get me wrong - those exact details (SA code and EEPROM location) may not apply to this Audi but the fact that you needed to run a special "replacement" operation with your Autel leads me to believe it likely made a correction for buggy control module software.

In conclusion, I don't believe this is a VCDS bug. Rather, I suspect Audi had a similar problem on their Golf 5/6 based model 16 modules. If I can locate an Audi specific TPI or test plan I'll report back with those details. If I cannot locate any documentation I'll still add a note to the lbl file for

MVB 006,4,Malfunction,recognized

... explaining Yes may be due to buggy software and that a Replacement test plan may need to be completed using ODIS (or similar).
