Airbag light code 9442836

Hi!
I swapped out my screen for an aftermarket android headunit and relocated the hazard button and now i get a fault code and the airbag light is on. I've reset the DTC codes but it just comes back up with the light. Is there any permenantly fix to this? Ps. The new hasard button does not have the Airbag light underneath.

We would need to see the Auto-Scan but I believe that's a Front Passenger's Airbag Disabled Indicator Lamp DTC. If you unplugged a PODS (Passenger Occupancy Detection System) light assy it may not be reconnected properly.

I've editet the post and included the auto scan. I've checked all the wiring and everything is in its place, I even dissconnected all the wiring and reconnected them with no luck

Looks like ST1, SC14 (5 Amp fuse, left side of dash in the ST1 black row of fuses) powers it.

If K145 - Front passenger side airbag deactivated warning lamp doesn't exist anymore you won't be able to get rid of the Airbag fault code IMO but I would try to resolve the 00910 - Indicator Lamp for Emergency Flashers (K6) problem so you have flashers in the meanwhile.

Please do verify things are wired/powered properly in regards to the flasher problem but I did spot an Adaptation channel [*MAS00975-MAS00079*] Airbag adaptations - Key switch that may allow you to suppress that fault code if you aren't installing a K145 factory type switch. That's about all of the assistance we can provide for liability reasons however someone else may be able to offer further assistance.

Hi, I've resolved the issue. I needed a second cable to trick the computer in thinking that the light indicator was connected. The airbag is fully functional and all of the codes have been reset for good. @salimkungen, I just did the same thing (installing an Android Aftermarket Headunit on my B8.5 S4), and couldn't get the Air Bag light to remain off even with resetting it via VCDS. I appreciate the link. I've just purchased the same harness. This should resolve the issue, as you've mentioned since after relocating the Hazard light, it was missing a plug for the Air Bag.
