Basically the Check engine light came on, together with the glow plug light flashing and the DPF warning came up too.

I tried to do a standing regeneration but that failed.
When driving at 2500rpm the soot (calculated and measured) both went up and up.
I notice a problem with the temp sensor after the DPF. It's reading 1000°C??? And it's throwing a code. Could this mean the sensor failed and eventually clogged up the DPF? Or could it be that the DPF got clogged up and made the sensor fail?
Maybe because of the sensor it doesn't want to regenerate anymore?

It likely won't regen with the EGT sensor faults present. Fix the electrical malfunction with the EGT sensor.

if the sensor is replaced and there are no more faults except for the DPF, what is the maximum untill you are not able to regenerate again? i read on the ross-tech wiki for the 1.6tdi can version it's this:
With the newer CR-TDI engines there are 2 different types of regenerations available depending on the actual soot mass/load. If either the calculated or measured soot mass is above 30g but below 40g you can initiate a regeneration while standing (Idle will be raised etc.), a forced regeneration while driving is also possible. Once the values are above 40g (but below the max 45g) the regeneration while standing is no longer available and the regeneration while driving is the only way.
but for the UDS version there is no such information

That depends on the stored values in your Advanced Measuring Values but the IDE list Jacek should be extremely helpful. Posting a Measuring Value function control module map from this 01-Engine controller would be helpful.

You can open the resulting CSV file in Notepad and wrap in it [CODE] ... [/CODE] tags just like the Auto-Scan.
