How do I force a DPF regen on my 2009 Audi A6 3.0tdi using VCDS please ?

I’m trying to regen Audi A6 2.7 BPP engine and I’m doing everything it says to do but when I type the 10016 code in the regen isn’t starting. I’ve fitted a new dpf so I’m wondering what the issue could be. Any help would be great thank you
