Powerfold Mirror Programming on Seat Alhambra

I want to reprogramme my powerfold mirrors to fold in when locking & out when unlocking the vehicle.Found a couple of videos on YouTube on a Golf and Audi, one of which was by entering the security code and the other by long coding? Not too sure on attempting long coding at the moment but the security code used in the video was not accepted in my VCDS for the vehicle. Does anybody know the Security Access Code for Seat Alhambra 2019 for 09 Central Electrics, then 42,Door Electrics Driver & 52, Door Electrics Passenger. I think the code I use is 99, Lock in, Unlock out while 95 is Lock in, Engine Start out? Thanks

siLc, thanks for the link. Had a look at it and the Security Code quoted there is the same one I picked up off the You Tube video but did not allow access to the Seat. The settings of 90, 95 & 99 are also the same but of course could not access without the correct security code?

Thought I would update the forum on how I have got on. Still not able to gain the Security Access through VCDS but a little bit further search on the internet turned up a piece of relevant information.
This may only be applicable to later models but will put a bit of a further update on when I get a chance to try it on my 2017 VW Sharan.

This does not give you any options on how it operates but initializes the 'Comfort Mirror Folding' action.

So,
Once into VCDS;
Select Module 42 Driver Door Electrics / Module 52 Passenger Door Electrics >> Coding 07 >> Long Coding Helper >> Byte 4 >> Bit 6 Comfort Mirror Folding Active, Tick box >> Accept new code >> Close VCDS

Lock vehicle, then, hold down lock button on remote and mirrors close.

Open doors, then, when you start the car the mirrors fold out.

I would prefer them to fold out when unlocking the doors so may keep looking for the Security Access Code to see if I can reset it to that at sometime.

I think that's how they all work? My S4 has folding mirrors (can be activated from the car - no need for VCDS) that fold when the doors are locked (no need to hold down lock button) but they don't open again until the engine is started.

On my MQB Skoda Octavia the mirrors fold out when I unlock the doors and fold in when the doors are locked - as OP wants, but there's nothing I can see in the coding or adaptation to change that behavior (not that I want to I like it that way).

Interesting, maybe it can be changed somewhere? but (as you are with yours) I'm happy enough as it is, as long as they open before I drive away.

The Wife's Q2 (MQB?) doesn't (I think?) have folding mirrors so can't be activated anyway, it does have the windows close/open by holding down the lock/unlock but I assume that is a standard feature? as my S4, my Son's Golf do and even my old A3 did - the old Polo doesn't though as it has old-school wind-up windows...

My 2010 8P S3 does the fold in once lock button on fob is held and open out once i insert key into ignition and turn once before starting engine . This was done using Vcp
