Hi guys,
I have a strange problem with a Jetta MK5 of a friend of mine. We did retrofit a Discover Media PQ B type and all works fine only navigation doesn't function as it should be.
GPS Signal has been checked and is perfect, so it finds directly fix.
SD card has been checked and works perfect
Problem we encountered is that after entering destination, the route is calculated good. But when driving, the map is not sliding. It is only updating via GPS fix every 30 or 40 seconds. Also rerouting after driving wrong direction is not functioning.
It looks like it does not get speed signal. But when I check with my VCDS and open module 5F measure block and check vehicle speed, as soon as I drive it gives speed information.
I have updated the 1K0 Q type gateway to AD version. I only forgot to clear the errors in module 01 after gateway update...
