I had my car smogged back in November the next day the ECM died, the car would just turn itself off. Prior to this it had never had any issues.
I sent the ECM out for repair to two different places was advised that the processor was failing and it could not be repaired. I bought a replacement ECM off of EBAY and took the car to the dealership to have the unit flashed to my keys. The dealership advised that they were unable to flash my ECM to my car, and they told me that the ABS was under recall but they were unable to do anything about the ABS because they could not flash the ECM. I had the car towed home and ordered another ECM with the Immobilizer deleted. Now, the car runs and drives, except the SAFE mode light is on and the ABS light and alarm wont turn off, which had never been issue. I ran another scan with the new ECM and can see that ABS unit now it is not coded, and there are 4 fault codes.

I have a scan from the day before we took it to the dealership and the ABS module codes are present, and there were no fault codes. So I tried to recode the ABS with the original long code and I keep getting "error code 31: Request out of Range"

Any advise on how to fix this would be great.

Here is a scan with new ECM with the immobilizer delete, and ABS fault codes

Code:
Removed. Data from a clone/pirate copy of VCDS is not acceptable here.

And here is the scan from before it went to the dealership, with the factory ECM and no ABS fault codes

Code:
Removed. Data from a clone/pirate copy of VCDS is not acceptable here.

I will try get the advance ID info later today

You're well out of date with VCDS there. Why haven't you updated it?
