Good morning,

I purchased a new transmission filter & gasket kit for my 2004 Touareg 3.2L V6 and I have access to a bunch of Mobile-1 transmission fluid from another job.

My question is will the Mobile-1 trans fluid be suitable for the Treg???

Thanks,
Dave

Maybe, but maybe not. VW/Audi automatic transmissions use a unicorn tear blend of fluid, but there are several different types... you would need to verify you have the oil you wan to use meets the factory design for the transmission that is installed in your vehicle.

eh... I can't say I'm any kind of expert on Mobil 1 oil types, so not like I could know by looking at a photo of the bottle. Post up an Auto-Scan, then myself along with several others can give you the factory part number for the oil and you might be able to cross reference via that with the fine folks over at Mobile.
