In the owners manual, it states that their is suppose to be a green light in the dash when auto hold is engaged. Of course, there is a orange light on the auto-hold button, but that’s not what i’m referring to. The orange light does nothing but tell me that i have the auto hold feature activated; it does not tell me whether or not it’s engaged. In EU, a green “P” (in the US, ours says “PARK”) in the instrument cluster will come on to let you know that auto hold is actively holding the vehicle, and that it’s safe to take your foot off the brake. As soon as you step on the gas, the green light goes off and auto hold disengages. My NAR Golf R doesn’t function like this, there is no indication whether or not auto hold is actively holding the vehicle. The only thing i get is the “PARK” lights up red in the instrument cluster when the E Parking brake is engaged. I can’t seem to find a setting to enable this through VCDS, I found where it was done on non-MQB cars through module 53-Parking Brake. But we do not have access to this module on the 2019 Golf R. I assume it’s in the module 03-ABS Brakes, but haven’t been able to find it. Any help? I’ve been able to complete all of the other tweaks I wanted, but i’m really stuck on this one! I have a 2019 Golf R W/ DCC & Navigation with the 7-Speed DSG.
