I have a 2010 Audi A6 2.8 (220hp) multitronic, a long while ago ( +2 years ) the AC suddenly decided to stop blowing cold air , fan works fine , and heater works fine also.
I did a scan with VCDS and I got this :

I’m not sure exactly why the code is presented twice , but that’s what it gave me, if I replace the sunlight sensor will it solve the issue or may it be something else ? since the ac doesn’t work even in [ LO ] temperature settings which should force the HVAC to blow cold as far as I understand.

I would greatly appreciate your help.

I do not think that the sunlight photo sensor would keep the AC from working entirely.

Check MVBs, specifically 001 for compressor regulating current and refrigerant pressure, and 002 to see if there are any compressor shut-off conditions keeping the compressor from running. 020 may also be interesting.

they seem fine , as the vcds software suggests , I don’t know what the values are supposed to be,
there’s no current shutoff condition detected, but the last condition block says it is from engine control module CAN, i’m not sure what to conclude out of that.:eek:
