SEAT LEON FR TDI RETROFIT VIRTUAL COCKPIT

Hi guys, need help please. i have done a retrofit for a seat Leon PFL with a FL:virtual cockpit, door lights, heated seats, BCM and gateway (high)
i have removed the seat and glove compartment so air bag has errors. im okay with door light and heated seats. i have coded and adapted bcm so lights are working in interior and headlights. but if i indicate left or right it shows error to check bulbs but they are working. in the gate away i have removed the Borne struct sound everywhere i think i can it still shows in gateway list as not registers but if i put back on via gateway list it thinks its there but does not allow long code or adaptations. :banghead:

well clear the errors first, if airbags were connected again properly, the fault will clear with VCDS.

why did you put a FL bcm/gateway on a PFL car? it's always advised to go with the HIGH part quoted by ETKA for your VIN. if you did it because "5Q0 gateway does not support AID", well, it's bullshit. it works just fine.

try to sort out all the "module incorrectly coded" first, those are self explaining.

Thank you for your reply. But as explained air bag error is not the problem, them error codes have gone away. We Upgraded the bcm because of the features needed inside the car door lights. The gatewate way upgraded because of the virtual cockpit and steering wheel.

I believe module 08 and 09 can't communicate with the SUNLIGHT EXPOSURE sensor which is on top of the dashboard in the middle of the air vent blowing on the windscreen. it is directly wired to module 08, you might want to double check that.

module 09 can't properly communicate with 55 so you probably have some wrong coding/admap in one or both.

module 17 has wrong coding and that is self explanatory. 17 is also not receiving some messages from module 10 so again double check coding for both.

YOU HAVE COMPONENT PROTECTION ACTIVE IN 19 AND 5F THIS NEEDS TO BE CLEARED WITH DEALER-LEVEL ACCESS, NOTHING YOU CAN DO WITH VCDS.

5F is complaning about the GPS antenna disconnected and again that is self explanatory.

i have spent hours with the coding i have managed to sort a lot of the errors. not sure about the sunlight as it got upgraded so maybe the issue. still getting issues about the indicators they do work but it says error check front left and right indicators. does any know what channels i 09 CENTRAL ELEC. i really think its looking for LED but its bulbs. i have attached the scan aswell/ thank you

I'm not sure about fixing a problem when the DTC for the problem doesn't appear in your auto-scan, but to answer your specific question - for MQB platform vehicles (like your Leon), the relevant channels for the front turn-signal lamps that tell the BCM what lamp types are installed are:
Left-side: ENG116936-ENG115873-Leuchte 0 BLK VL B36-Lasttyp 0 >12 - Blinkleuchten
Right-side: ENG116937-ENG115892-Leuchte1BLK VRB20-Lasttyp 1 >12 - Blinkleuchten

I've shown the factory settings for "bulbs" (i.e. incandescent lamps)

As for the "sunlight exposure" DTC - perhaps check the setting for this BCM channel:
