Hi.

I'm from Spain and I own an Audi A6 C7. I have doubts about the dpf and the regeneration and I hope you can help me.

Thank you.

Doubts on particle regeneration (dpf) in A6 C7 3.0 TDI 2015

Hi.

I have the following questions regarding particle regeneration. In normal conditions what is the soot mass limit from which the car "if conditions are optimal" makes a regeneration?

I have read these things about calculated soot mass but I don't know if they are true:
- when you reach 27-28g it does the regeneration
- if you reach 40g you can no longer force regeneration
- if the filter reaches 50g (elsewhere I have read 68g) the filter must be replaced or dismantled and cleaned.

Are these data correct for my car/model/engine?

Thank you.

To be able to answer your dpf questions we'll need you to post a full unedited VCDS Auto-Scan so we can see how your car is equipped - see my sig for a How-To.
