Hello,
Does the order matter when both coding and Vehicle Data Learning a HVAC control unit is required?
I've installed a used Climate Control unit in the dash. This fixed my AC except the rear window defroster no longer works. A VCDS-Lite scan shows Incorrect VIN and no comms to Converable Top in the HVAC module.
I've located the fix, I think, in the VCDS WIKI:
So I need to correct the coding and "teach" the car's VIN to the HVAC unit, or is it the other way around?
Thanks
