Door to body connectors - SEAT Altea (Golf V platform)

I did the usual door wiring repair job last week, that all went well. Speakers and door locks now working.

However, the door to body connectors have 2 slide in locking bars, 1 each side. Both sides are broken. Can anyone suggest a supplier of new locking bars with or without the man in connector body.

By locking bars you mean the upper two tabs that insert into the vehicle body?

Afraid the tabs aren't available seperately.

You can pick them up in almost any scrap yard, they have loads of them lying around in written off cars. That'll be cheaper than getting replacements from the dealers. However, if none are open due to COVID then it's a dealer job then I'm afraid.

I have discovered the whole connector part number 5P0937722, maybe a breakers yard is the only way.

Thanks for letting us know - that not all PQ cars have the same connector. At least swapping out the connector should be much easier than swapping out the boot.
