    DPF Pressure Sensor

    Skoda Octavia 2.0Tdi 140 CR. 2012
Posted previously about problems with DPF Regeneration and still trying to sort out the issue. However going back to having work done on the turbo plus a new Lambda Sensor and a new Pressure Sensor did a bit rooting around and found this about a G450 Pressure Sensor?

Called the garage, unfortunately the guy I needed is not available at the moment but the one I spoke with about 'logging it to the ECU' reckoned they didn't need it so probably not done.
So my question is, does it need setting up on the ECU and if so how? Is it similar to the thread mentioned?

    Almost certainly.

Hard to say. The thread you linked to above has an older, non-UDS ECU. Without seeing what ECU the car in question has, we can only speculate.

Hi Uwe, thanks. Even though it's been fitted and ran can it still be logged into the ECU? An different post about the Pressure Sensor said it was a 'One Time Only' and if it was ran would 'adopt' the previous settings?

Also here is a 'snapshot' from a scan on the vehicle, does this give any indication of the ECU fitted?

That looks like this car, and if so, I'd want to make sure the cause of the EGR fault codes was resolved because the DPF system may not regen properly while driving.

In regards to Jack's research - I came up with SWL 9981 as well but I wasn't able to locate the RoW market Skoda TPI number. If you happen to have that EDC flash updated on the dealer level please ask them to put the TPI number or SVM code on your repair order so you can pass that along to us.

As far as the new DPF pressure sensor is concerned, that appears to be Basic Setting:
[*IDE01772*] Adaptation of diff. pressure sensor particulate filter

If that alone doesn't reset the Advanced Measuring Values you may also want to try BS:
[*IDE00468*] Resetting of learned values of difference pressure sensor

If you need further assistance please post the Auto-Scan and a pair of Measuring block function maps for review. I believe a Key On, Engine Off map -and- another map with the engine running at Idle would be best.
