I have a 2005 Bentley Continental GT that recently had a dead battery. After a jump start the vehicle had the following two symptoms:
At approximately 10 MPH
1. Code 00301 - ABS Return Flow Pump
2. Code 01316 - ABS Control Module
3. The left dash lamp for ABS is illuminated
4. The center dash lamp stating: "Brake Fault Stop Vehicle"
So basically I have never seen an ABS or Parking Brake error until post jump start.
Here is what I have done so far:
1. Replaced both batteries
2. Checked ABS fuses in Trunk and Steering Column
3. Reset codes with ross-tech VCDS HEX-V2
a. The codes and light clear and stay cleared until the vehicle reaches approximately 10 MPH
4. I did re-center the steering wheel via the ross-tech procedure after the battery replacement. Its at 0 deg
5. I removed and reconnected the ABS connector under the hood. (no science there)
Here is what I see as my options:
1. Ask for expert help here
2.a Order a used ABS module. ~$500 ebay =>Will likely need to recode with VCDS
OR
2.b Send mine to be repaired for $150 (modulerepairpro)
3. Take to indi shop. I am in Melbourne FL, no idea where to go. I have been doing everything myself up until now.
4. Take it to the Bentley dealer in Orlando or West Palm
