Hi, I have recently replaced the clutches in a 7 speed dsg (dry
clutch) golf mk5 2008 model.
There were previously no shifting problems but just a small amount of
clutch slip on the odd numbered gears.
The only fault codes were that the clutch had reached its limit of
adjustment.
Hence, the replacement of the clutches.
Both clutches were set up according to the VW manual and appropriate
shims used.
The whole assembly, including clutch assembly, release forks,
bearings, thrust pad, flywheel, were all replaced.
I have followed the Ross Tech basic setting procedure and conducted
the prescribed road test but there is now some juddering in some of
the gears.
The car seems to change ok using the Tiptronic changer but in Drive
it does not operate without juddering.
I wondered if there is a specific set up procedure for the 7 speed dry
clutch dsg with transmission code KHM.
The engine is a 1.9 diesel PD code BLS.
Any help you could offer would be much appreciated.
