This is my first post, I bought a HEX-V2 just the other day. The auto scan I'm posting only has comfort signal changed to 4 from 3. I also want to add that even though I have had this car for 3 yearsish, I'm completely new to the VW/Audi world. I used to have a Mustang, tuned that, but like I said I'm a noob with this Euro stuff. It took me like 30 min to figure out if I have a MK5,6 or 7 car, and I still don't really know, do I have a facelift?. Just to give a basis of my terminology and understanding of this realm of vehicles. A bit of a background however, I am a Heavy Duty Parts Technician, so I do have a very good understanding of vehicles, and vehicle systems.

So I have a 2017 Jetta wolfsburg 1.4t with iptronic AUTO 6 speed and I was wanting to change the gas pedal from adaptive to direct throttle. It seems(after talking to a fantastic redditor) that my MK6 jetta MAY specc'd with MK5 computers. He suggested this after seeing the part numbers of the modules.

THE MAIN REASON I purchased the HEX-V2 is to change the throttle from Adaptive to Direct. However after some research is seems that may not be possible. It's just that the lag sometimes gets to me, is it because of drive by wire? I also tried that hold the pedal down for 20 seconds to reset, not sure if it did anything. Kinda felt like it did, however it could be placebo.

Should I be worried about the Malfunctions, and the fact that is says a module wasn't programmed correctly at 0 KM?
Also should I be googling MK5 mods or MK6?

Now on top of everything I have put above, anyone have all the available mods via VCDS for my vehicle? Also do i google "Golf MkX", or do I google "Jetta MkX", I just dont get the terminology.

Your Jetta comes with the PQ25 platform, that it shares with a VW Polo, Beetle, Transporter T5 GP/T6. You can see it in Address 09: "Component: BCM PQ25"
In some cases, it will come on a different platform, the PQ35 platform that it shares with the Golf Mk6 etc.
That's all I can say, I'm no expert on the Mk5 Golf or throttle adaptations.

I'm not sure this engine has ever been in the Mk5 Golf, but I wouldn't bet on it.

This car itself is an Mk.6. "VW36", but VW used a less expensive "Polo" PQ25 BCM in many of these cars. "Parts bin cost engineering".

I would not worry too much about the fault in 01-Engine because it is "Intermittent - Not Confirmed" and the ECU has not seen fit to report it to the Gatway "01-Engine -- Status: OK 0000"

The fault in the HVAC sounds like a bad sensor or bad connection to that sensor. Unfortunately, it's likely buried and would require lots of disassembly to get to. If this was my car, I'd clear it and see how quickly (and under what circumstances) it comes back.

The "Control Module Incorrectly Coded" is flagged "Intermittent". Clear it and see if it comes back. My guess is someone was fooling with something back in December of 2018 and never cleared the fault.

"Tuner for Satellite Radio -- Deactivated" just tells you that the subscription to Sirius/XM is not active. The only way to get rid of this "fault" is to get a Sirius/XM subscription.

You can't really do much about the behavior of the gas pedal. Since the car has an automatic transmission, it's difficult to say whether any lag you are experiencing is actually in the throttle/engine or whether it's due to some behavior in the transmission. One thing that might be worth trying is to calibrate the throttle body. See this page. Please read the whole page. The actual procedure applicable to your car is the last one, "Drive-by-Wire (DBW) Engines using KWP-7000 (UDS/ODX)", and the Basic Setting in your ECU should be:

Well that's extremely helpful, really are a Benevolent Dictator. You've cleared up my worries with those codes.
That being said, with your experience, do you think that a Throttle body calibration would actually do anything?

I kinda wish I knew about this stuff before I purchased this car.. i would have gotten a different model with more possibilities.

Going forward if I have any issues trying to enable/disable something, do I just create a new thread under tweaks?

You can check VW Jetta (16/AJ) Tweaks but if something isn't listed create a new thread under the tweaks sub-forum with a scan and someone should be able to assist.

Sorta. You can search online for Mk6 Jetta Sedan tweaks but make sure the instructions aren't for a Mk6 based JSW or GLI which used the higher-end PQ35 BCM (which supported a larger list of tweaks).
