Programing of the key can be done but not with Odis , Odis will reject programing when this code is store. It is possible that car had Flat battery , I have seen many times this code after flat battery, or Someone in past play with Eeprom.
Cluster will be fine ,just need to use different tool.

Good to know.....what other tool are you referring to?

I am sure it had a bad battery because previous owner put wrong size battery in it. I mean it fits but the top cover will not fit.

Certainly no sign of a login default attempt & code erase either and is standard operation procedure for a dealer doing a FaZit session, no?

I saw the scan which is why I stated the aforementioned already & with an auto-scan inserted, didn't you see it?

It was thru the key programming that led us to recommend a new odometer/instrument cluster. You will not be able to program a key to this component without replacement. The fob is programmed and works.

I am very very sorry for the delay in responding to this. This is in no way a reflection on Jack and his abilities.

To start with....I basically rebuilt this whole car....timing belt, tensioners, flap delete, cleaned valves, HPFP internals, new catted downpipe and exhaust,intake, CV boots, sway bars and endlinks, suspension, brakes and rotors, and wheels and tires. The car was well maintained but was originally an East Coast car so lots of corrosion. Most of the parts were scored lightly used for very reasonable prices.

Now back to the story. Jack is amazing......no I'm serious. He walked me though his whole process....which is extremely professional.....I mean way more than you see most of the time. He was extremely prompt in responding....in some cases....minutes later. He was very understanding of my situation and was very eager to help me out. I honestly think he had my ecu and gauges for a total of 2 days. Returned to me promptly and yes....MY NEW KEY WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!

In the future if you have any issues with your Immobilizer or questions....this is the guy to ask.

Thank you so much Jack!!!!!

Now back to clearing codes and getting the Turd back together. IT RUNS and that was 90% of the battle!!!!!!
