Hi looking for help on this van new to VCDS
Getting message on dash stop start error once its started and ready to move. it also stays in vehicle status when you scroll through menu.
I replaced the auxiliary belt as it was squeaking when weather damp in mornings. Battery also replaced as it was testing low I've managed to get it coded or at least I think Ive done it correctly, as the radio unit isn't showing battery coding message when I try to use bluetooth audio. Now the van had a Varta battery in it with BEM code, but was coded as a JCI ? Ive fitted a larger battery but changed the AH and the last digit of the serial number. I had changed the whole lot as it was a Yuasa I fitted 80AH 800A YBX9115 it seemed to work but after a bit of googling I chickened out and changed it back to original but with the info altered. The van is also fitted with a westfalia towbar wiring kit and I've got that to now put fog light off when connected, different issue though. I found that it has not ok Generator information when looking in VCDS group 016 in measuring blocks. The status is ok on electrical, mechanical and thermal on group 015. not sure if this helps. You can see at address 61 that i changed battery back.

Is a wiring diagram for this vehicle a long shot as they don't even give you a list of fuses for these. It just tells you to contact your dealer as specifications are constantly changing. Insert curse words here
