I have got the job of sorting a mess up the person has fitted a new Squib and has binned the original so no coding available from original ive managed to get steering buttons ect all working but the cruise I cant I can see the switch working in measuring blocks and all faults now clear on 16: steering wheel that was present however there is a fault in 01: engine I cant seem to get my head round it experimental coding all in German which does not help either.

if someone could have a look at the coding would appreciate it or offer some advice

Hi Mari,
For some reason many people miss-name the clock spring or module that carries the connection to the steering wheel airbag a "squib". It derives from an English name for a firework or small explosive, you may have heard the saying "went off like a damp squib" meaning something did not work correctly. So the squib is really the explosive charges (pyro techniques) in the air bags and belt tensioners.

Thanks I will give that a try would of been a lot easier if I could of done a scan of the original before it was removed and binned 🙈

I agree with the 1082140002 suggestion. We had one 1P-SE35 (7N0) scan with that 01 module and it was nearly identical:

The clockspring doesn't explode, at least it's not deigned to:). I have been in the trade 54 years, don't start me on calling suspension dampers shock absorbers!
