I tried to search in the forums for a thread but could not find any relevant for my issue
I also have a couple of questions regarding my troubleshooting
According to RossTech Wiki P0087 there are several solutions for this faultcode.
The HPFP was replaced last month, and the fuelfilter was replaced yesterday.
The old HPFP pump was inspected for metal shavings, nothing to be found.
I can read from the rosstech wiki that
I have tried to log IDE00188 -- Fuel high pressure; actual value and IDE00201 -- High fuel pressure; specified value, but as you can see in the faultcode in the full scan, the actual value differences aprox 200bar from the specified value at the time it throws the fault code.
Is there any way I can use this method belowto check for pressure leak in the fuel system, or is this for gasoline cars only? I tried to follow those steps but the actual fuel pressure value is not moving when the engine is off (and ignition on)
Is there also any way to log or test the lift pump inside the dieseltank?
Last question is regarding the VC scope, im not so familiar with that.
Why wont the green line scale like the red one? I notice that it says "100" top left corner, but I cant change that. I have also tried to type in dozens of different values in the "vertical scale min/max" bottom right corner, but its only the red line that changes. What am I doing wrong?
