Hi guys, ive just bought an new engine for my-2000 a4 tsq.
The problem is that my old engine has an oil level sensor in the sump and the New one don't. Is there anyway to disable the oil level notification with vag-com? Or do i have to take the oilpan from my old sludged engine with 310000 km on it? The new one only has 30000 km :)

Please post an Auto-Scan so people can see exactly how the car is equipped and configured.

Well i dont have vag-com at Home, we have it at the workshop, and i took the old engine out of the car yesterday so i just want to know if its possible to disable the oil level sensor in the cluster, the number on the cluster is 8D0920930P, if its not possible i have to buy a New oilpan, the old one has cracks in the threads for the plug ☹

Not all B5's have the same electronics hardware & software, that's why we need to see an Auto-Scan to be able to answer your question.
