    Linde forklift

I have recently been helping a friend who works at forklifts with fault code clearing and injector coding.
    which VCDS does no problems
my question is, is it possible to do DPF regens with VCDS?
he mentioned that the Linde diagnostics can do this

    Code:
Chassis Type: LF - Linde Fork Lifts (VW Diesel ONLY)
    Scan: 01 25

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DPF regen? Hmmmmm.... You can try Security Access 27971 to enable Basic Settings and then Basic Settings group number 226 for regeneration while standing. This is an educated guess.

I'd be a bit more worried about the P0087 code. Metal shavings?

I only did the auto scan to show ECU details.
Yes apparently they need static regen.
Thanks for that! I will try and report back.

it seems like it maybe the right area but when entering basic settings 226 it shows the correct values for a second then it gives error - engine off - engine on
then some times 1.0 - PNinactive

im only trying this to workout if its possible. my friend mentioned it may not going into regen if soot levels are low?
i will retry on a forklift needing a regen

    MVB group 241 should be:

    • field 1 = Particle Filter,Oil Ash Volume,Range: -380...+380 ml
    • field 2 = Soot Load(g),Calculated
    • field 3 = Soot Load(g),Measured

finally got one to try that needs a regen. unfortunately the basic setting 226 doesnt work.
    i think i found the DPF values on MVB 108 field1-250ML field2-5.1 field3-6.6

any other ideas on how to start a regen?

250ml Ash, I would think this is to high, and a new particulate filter is needed, for car it is 175ml.
But 108.2 Calculated soot mass and 108.3 measured soot mass, are low (to low to start regeneration).

Please post engine controller maps here.

    [Applications]
    [Controller Channel Map]
    - Controller Address = 01
    - Login or security code: Leave blank
    - Function: Measuring values and Adaptations
    - Output: CSV file
    [Go]

    File is placed in c:\Roos-Tech\Logs

today i was looking at my friends Linde diagnostic software in offline mode (not connected) this is where i learned the MVB. the Linde software said 500ml is 100% full. i assume they have a different DPF from a car. when looking at the DPF regen protocol at the start of the regen it said in the log. login-40809 not sure if that is of any help tho.

i will get an engine controller map as soon as i can

i do understand this isnt the usual request. its just something i am experimenting with to help my friend
