Update of 19.6.2 usb interface intermittent communications

Yesterday my hex-v2 was operating properly.

Today I’m trying to upgrade my vin’s using a feature code. Every time I attempt to go into “config” I get blank boxes. Once in a while the adapter will show up, then the feature code I’m using says I must have CB: 04324+. Well my interface, when operational says CB: .4508.

I’m not sure why my interface is intermittent. I can see my interface sometimes but then I click update, and it stalls and loses comm with hex controller. I am directly connected to internet. Not WiFi, no change. I’ve switched USB ports many times with no help.

This seems to be an update error.

Have you tried another USB cable, just in case?
A standard USB printer cable will do

FWIW, the server thinks your VIN upgrade Feature Code has been successfully applied.

What does VCDS say about your license/VIN status?
