    A peak of 205 g/s seems reasonable for a tuned R32, I guess.

Looking back at your original faults, I wonder if you don't have an intake air leak somewhere past the MAF.

Because the information is useless when the report tables are fudged or if the MAF is bad or likely wrong part number....( THIS IS VERY LIKELY )

The advanced timing will mask it!

OP log CF for timing in all Zyl's please and post them in a pull.

Let's have a look at how deep knock control is going okay?

Less likely because it would be a multiplicative leak DTC.

More likely if not MAF could be inadequate fuel PSI or volume related or contaminated fuel.

I've been chasing what I thought was a post MAF air leak.
The two large breather tubes were cracked. I covered them with heat shrink, didn't like it and replaced the tubes.
I removed and cleaned the throttle body so I thought I might have a bad O ring. so I replaced it.
I sprayed all the hose junctions with Berryman's looking for an increase in RPM. Nothing.
New fuel pump about 5000 miles ago.
There is Regain fuel additive in the fuel but I had put several hundred miles on it after the additive.

The reason I was looking for a vacuum leak was it would hunt at idle. This had happened before and I found and fixed the leak...

MAF was replaced with PN 0280218073 with the Bosch "check at" seal on it. Purchased from Autohaus AZ. Had the same fault so I went back to the MAF that was on the cat for 40K+ miles.

    Hi Jack,

I'm very much a novice at using this tool. Can I get guidance on:
"OP log CF for timing in all Zyl's please and post them in a pull.

Let's have a look at how deep knock control is going okay?"

    Thanks,
    Don

My name is from years reverse engineering vintage guitar effects.
Steinberger Sound was right around corner from my first auto-parts store in 1994 on 9W Newburgh NY.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steinberger

I setup an employees Digifant 2 Vanagon Wasser on the VAG 1767 when it was new and he was the first vehicle I hooked it up too, when putting my VAG 1367 on shelf.
I got a personal tour of the molds and assemblies.

    What about fuel filter?
What about booster circuit adaptive values and secondary Aux brake vacuum pump if supported down to rack area lines?

    0x01-04-103-4 & 108 report please.

0x01-08-020/021 ME7.1.1 can be fickle in action ........

In regards to bad MAF or new MAF out of box being bad it happens often!

Just an FYI I have owned and worked on many R32's ones with mods and stock or with tuning.
I can tell you that ME7.1.1 if tuned will learn to not run proper on a MAF & that is even in good condition if another issue is present and the ADP fails to clear in eeprom on tuned cars.

In some cases the MOD cars had to be defaulted to accept the old or new MAF if car was in proper order & to not always pend a DTC due to tuners neglect!

Want to try a default as aforementioned?

I would like to point out that the file version in your car & renamed to an EG came from an EU4 SMOG tier for Japan & with different load request tables but you can dismiss me if you like?

Cool, I'm familiar with Steinberger. I worked as a test engineer on a medical imaging devise that used 96 channels of very high speed A to D converters. I used the same test systems to study effect pedals guitars and amps.

    Nice!

Haven't checked them I will locate and do so. Will the Berryman's trick work?

This sentiment is immaterial because it's when something goes wrong and than corrected where the havoc shows & since the stack is basically crippled, however, you can dismiss me if you like...
