Yes, original code have on BYTE 4 binary code 01010100 and on the BYTE 17 is binary code 00101010 !!!
But I don't tried to change directly the binary codes in each Byte separately (04 and 17) !!!
I have modification directly in LONGCODING !!!

    Sorry, now I don't follow?

Did you change both at the same time and then tried to write the coding to the ABS? You can do the modification directly to long coding. No need to change the binary codes. Hex values work fine.

Yes, separate change does not work. You need to do them at the same time and then write the new coding. They have to match.

So did it go if you changed them at the same time?

Do you mean the coding change wasn't accepted, or that it was accepted but made no difference?

D4 as brake type is not accepted by your ABS unit then. It might be undoable to code your current ABS unit to support the RS3 brakes. I know it's not something you would like to hear but it seems so.

    I suspected this thing .
But now I'm interested if anybody maked the change of ABS unit on MQB platform with an RS3 ABS unit ?

Good question. There's a difference in many of the other modules as well in A3 platform vs. Golf/Passat etc. So it might be that changing ABS will cause a plethora of changes needed to other modules as well.
